Aa Ba Ka Da  Sangeet Mahotsav.

The Late Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Smriti Sangeet Mahotsav is an attempt to preserve the rich tradition of music and dance in Indian culture. Artists of repute both national and international have performed in this mahotsav. It is an exhilarating experience. The repertoire ranging from pure classical music to light music and dance rejuvenates the senses and has become the high point for music lovers and members of AaBaKaDa. The sheer size and planned implementation of the mahotsav has received acclaim both from the performing artists and the discerning listeners. This sangeet mahotsav encompasses all forms of music and dance and is the only one of its kind in India today. The mahotsav therefore attracts a varied audience of 30 to 35 thousand persons collectively, from Sangli and Kolhapur districts.

The mahotsav has attracted great and distinguished artists like Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Jasraj,   Sarod maestro Ustaad Amjad Ali Khan, Tabla maestro Ustaad Alla Rakha and his famous son tabla maestro Ustaad Zakir Hussein, Classical singer Begum Parveen Sultana, Arti Anklikar, Pt. Jeetendra Abhisheki, Pt. Ajay Pohankar, Pt. Prabhakar Karekar, Sanjeev Abhyankar,  Thumri Queen Shobha Gurtu, Santoor maestro Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma, Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Ghazal samrats Jagjit Singh, Pankaj Udhas, Hariharan, Playback singers Suresh Wadkar, Usha Mangeshkar, Anuradha Poudwal, Sudesh Bhosale,  among others.
