With the visionary leadership & valuable guidance of Hon'ble
Shri. Jayantrao Patil, Finance & Planning Minister, Maharashtra State, 'Aa Ba Ka Da' was founded in 1990. Since the beginning,
'Aa Ba Ka Da' has been organising elite musical and theatrical performances for the masses.

Shri. Jayantrao Patil is the son of the doyen in the Maharashtra's cooperative and political fields late Shri. Rajarambapu Patil. 
Shri. Jayantrao   Patil   secured   B.E.   Civil from   the  renowned  Institution of Engineering and Technology VJTI Mumbai.

His social contribution could be measured through his working as President of " Sangli Zilla Vyasan  Mukti and Vanikaran Sanstha",   and by his initiative in arranging various conferences and    seminars of social interest. He is also the founder member of "Rajarambapu Patil Dnyanprabhodini".

Being an ardent advocate of  "education for all,"   he has  provided various facilities for education in the Sangli district. He is the President of Kasegaon Education Society which runs  an  Engineering College, Polytechinc College, Arts and Commerce  College and several schools. He was a member of  Executive  Council and Senate Member of Shivaji University Kolhapur.

His active participation in the field of Co-operative Sector is seen  in the area of Sangli district  through his involvement in the   various co-operative ogranisations. He is the Chairman  of  Rajarambapu Patil Co-operative Sugar Factory which incidentally   is a pioneering factory to introduce computerisation a long time ago. He is the President of the Advisory  Board of  Rajarambapu   Co-operative Bank Ltd, Peth, Dist. Sangli. He was also instrumental to popularise computer usage in the co-operative sugar factory and bank.

He took the initiative in the modernization and  commercialization of Agriculture. To achieve this  goal  he launched various programs, organized farmer rallies to educate them and established "Shetkari Sheti Mal Prakriya Sanstha". He has also set up milk co-operative societies in every village  where from the  milk is gathered, processed and effectively marketed in urban areas such as Pune and Mumbai.

Shri. Jayantrao Patil , is currently holding an important  portfolio of Finance and Planning in the Government of Maharashtra. His  passion for information technology and E-Governance has made him to take several initiatives for giving a much awaited facelift to the department. Simultaneously he has introduced information technology at various levels.
